White-Label Website Hosting for Web Agencies (2026)

White-label website hosting means your clients' sites run on someone else's infrastructure, but everything the client touches carries your brand: the dashboard they log in to, the login address, the emails, the support contact. Agencies get it three ways. A reseller account with a brandable control panel (the classic cPanel route, built around WordPress), a per-site website builder with an agency tier (Duda is the usual example), or flat-fee static hosting with a client portal, which is what Statpio's Agency Pro plan is. Which one fits depends on what you build: PHP and WordPress need the first, clients who must edit their own pages need the second, and hand-coded, Astro, exported or AI-built sites fit the third at a fraction of the per-site cost.

Disclosure: this page is published by Statpio, one of the options described. Every competitor price links to the vendor's own pricing page and was checked in October 2026.

What does "white label" actually have to cover?

Most hosts use the words for a logo upload. Before you resell anything, check each of these, because a client who sees a stranger's brand once will ask who they are really paying.

  • The login address. Does the client sign in at a URL on your domain (for example portal.youragency.com) or at the provider's?
  • The dashboard. Your logo and colours, or theirs with a logo in the corner?
  • Emails. Invitations, password resets, notifications: whose name is on them?
  • Support. Where does the "Contact support" link go?
  • The site itself. Any "powered by" badge, any provider hostname in the DNS records a curious client might look up?
  • What the client can break. A full hosting panel lets a client delete files or change DNS. A scoped portal lets them see leads and analytics and ask for changes.

Which white-label hosting model fits the sites you build?

ModelBuilt forWhat the client logs in toPrice basisWhat you still do
Reseller hosting (cPanel, DirectAdmin, hPanel)WordPress and other PHP sitesA full hosting panel per client, brandable on most plansOne reseller fee for a block of disk and accountsUpdates, backups, PHP versions, security, migrations, support tickets
Per-site builder with an agency tier (Duda, Webflow, Wix Studio)Clients who edit their own pagesThe builder's editor under your brandPer site, plus an agency or white-label subscriptionNothing on the server side; you pay for every site forever
Flat-fee static hosting with a client portal (Statpio Agency Pro)Hand-coded, Astro, Hugo, Eleventy, Webflow or Framer exports, Lovable and Bolt builds, Next.js static exportsA portal on your domain with forms, leads, analytics, change requests and a blogOne flat monthly fee for up to 100 sitesUpload the build or push to GitHub; no servers, no updates

The honest line between the last two: if your clients need to drag a section around themselves, use a builder. If they need to see what the site is doing and ask you for changes, a portal is enough and far cheaper.

How does Statpio's white-label portal work?

Agency Pro turns the client side of hosting into something you set up once per client. The steps match the dashboard as it is today.

  1. Create the project and deploy the site: drag in a ZIP of the built site, or connect the GitHub repository so every push deploys. Instant rollback keeps the last 50 deployments.
  2. Add the client's domain. Two DNS records at the registrar: a CNAME for www to cname.onstatpio.com, and a CNAME for _acme-challenge.www with the validation value the dashboard shows. SSL is issued automatically once the record is found; the root domain forwards to www.
  3. Brand the portal in Settings: your logo, brand colours, support email, and a portal domain such as portal.youragency.com. From then on clients never see a Statpio address.
  4. Invite the client by email with a scoped role. The invitation carries your brand. Up to 50 collaborator seats per project.
  5. Hand over. The client logs in and sees form submissions and leads, visitor analytics, the blog editor if you give them that permission, and a change-request form. They cannot deploy, roll back, change DNS or see billing; those stay with you.

Everything a static site usually lacks is already there, so you are not bolting on three more subscriptions per client: HTML forms are captured at the edge with a visible Cloudflare Turnstile widget and a hidden honeypot (100,000 submissions a month on Agency Pro, exportable to CSV), analytics is cookieless and shows pageviews, visitors, referrers, countries, devices, campaigns and real-time visitors for the last 90 days, and each site can run a hosted blog at /blog with up to 1,000 posts, in your brand colours. Push notifications tell you about new leads and change requests. There are no email alerts for form leads; that is worth knowing before you promise it to a client.

What does it cost to host 10, 30 or 100 client sites?

The table compares the price basis, not features: Vercel and Netlify have no client portal, so they are here because agencies ask. Duda's agency plan includes four sites and charges per additional site; Statpio's fee does not change with the site count until the plan limit.

What happens when a client leaves?

On a reseller plan you suspend their cPanel account. On a builder you cancel that site's subscription and the site goes dark unless they take over the bill. On Statpio the project stays in your account, so it is your call: keep it live for a notice period, take it down, or export the files and give them to the client. Statpio cannot transfer a project into a client's own account. A static site is a folder of files, so a client who leaves can host that folder anywhere, which is also the argument for building static in the first place.

When is white-label static hosting the wrong choice?

  • WordPress, PHP, or any server code. Statpio only serves static output. Next.js needs output: 'export'; Lovable apps created since May 2026 use a server framework and will not run as-is.
  • Clients who must edit pages themselves. There is no page editor; clients edit the blog and send change requests. Duda or Webflow suits that client better.
  • Server-side shops. A static site with Snipcart or Stripe Checkout works; a cart that needs a database does not.
  • Email alerts for leads. Notifications are push only (browser and app). If the client insists on email, add a form service for that one form; forms posting elsewhere are left alone.

How do agencies package hosting into a retainer?

The agencies that make hosting pay sell it as a service, not as server space: a monthly fee per site that includes hosting, SSL, the forms inbox, analytics, the blog and a number of small changes a month, with change requests as the support channel. Because the platform fee is flat, the margin grows with every site you add instead of shrinking. Our guide to hosting client landing pages covers the per-campaign version of the same model, and the roundup of white-label hosting options goes deeper on the alternatives, including running your own server.

If your sites are static, the Agency Pro plan is the one built for this: see what it includes or start with one client site and brand the portal before you invite them.

Frequently asked questions

What is white-label website hosting?

Hosting where the provider runs the servers but your clients only ever see your brand: your logo and colours on the dashboard they log in to, your support email, a login address on your own domain, and no provider name on the site. You bill the client; the provider bills you.

Can my clients see Statpio's name anywhere?

Not on an Agency Pro site. The site has no badge, the client portal runs under your own domain with your logo, colours and support email, and invitation and change-request emails carry your brand. The Free plan does show a small Statpio badge on the site.

Can clients edit their own website?

They can write and publish blog posts in the portal and send change requests for everything else. They cannot edit the site's pages, deploy, change DNS or touch billing. If a client needs to edit pages themselves, a builder such as Duda or Webflow is the better fit.

Is there a free white-label hosting plan?

No. The white-label portal is part of Agency Pro. The Free plan hosts one site on a Statpio subdomain with a badge, which is fine for a demo, not for a client handover.

Does white-label static hosting work for WordPress sites?

No. Statpio hosts static files only, so PHP and WordPress do not run on it. Agencies on WordPress should use a reseller host with a brandable control panel, or convert the site to static first. Hand-coded sites, Astro, Hugo, Eleventy, exports from Webflow or Framer, and AI-built sites from Lovable (older React and Vite projects) or Bolt all work.

What happens to a client's site if they stop paying me?

The project stays in your account, so you decide: keep it live, take it down, or hand the client their files. Statpio cannot transfer a project into a client's own account; a client who leaves takes a copy of the static files and hosts them wherever they like.
