At Statpio ("Statpio", "we", "our", or "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have regarding your information when you use our website, platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using Statpio, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please discontinue using our Services.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Statpio and which features you use.

Information You Provide

When you create an account, purchase a subscription, contact us, or use our Services, you may provide information including:

• Full name

• Email address

• Password, if you set one (stored only as a salted hash, never readable)

• Profile information

• Organization or workspace information

• Messages submitted through our contact forms or support channels

• Subscription and billing information processed through our payment provider

Google Sign-In (OAuth)

If you choose to sign in using your Google account, we receive basic profile information from Google necessary to authenticate your account, such as your name, email address, and profile picture (if available). We do not receive your Google password and we only access information that you explicitly authorize.

Google authentication is used solely to simplify account access and improve your sign-in experience.

GitHub App Integration

Statpio allows you to connect your GitHub repositories using our GitHub App for deployment purposes.

When you install the Statpio GitHub App, we may access:

• Repository metadata

• Repository contents required for deployments

• Branch information

• Commit information necessary to build and deploy your website

Statpio only accesses repositories that you explicitly authorize. To build and deploy your website, Statpio reads the repository's contents and, when you set a build command, adds or updates one GitHub Actions workflow file (.github/workflows/statpio-deploy.yml) in the branch you connect. It removes that file when you disconnect the repository. Statpio does not change any of your other files or push any other code.

AI Assistants and Connected Apps

You can connect Statpio to an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, or to another app, through Statpio's connector. Before anything is connected, you approve on a Statpio page what the app may do, for example read your websites, publish websites, read your websites' form submissions or visitor statistics, or write blog posts.

When you use a connected app, it sends Statpio the files, texts and settings needed for what you asked, and Statpio sends back the results, which can include your websites' form submissions and visitor statistics if you allowed that. Statpio does not receive or store your conversations with the assistant. Information the assistant receives is handled by its provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) under that provider's own privacy policy.

A connected app never receives your Statpio password: it gets a connection token that only allows what you approved. You can see each connected app, and what it may do, under Profile & Security, in Connected AI apps, and disconnect it there at any time. You can also remove it in the app's own settings.

If an assistant gives you a photo upload link, the photos you add are used only for your website: published ones become part of it, and the rest are deleted 2 days after the link was made. Anyone with the link can add photos while it is open (24 hours), so share it only with people you trust.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we may automatically collect certain technical information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Statpio platform, including:

• IP address

• Browser type and version

• Device information

• Operating system

• Pages visited

• Referring website

• Date and time of requests

• Deployment activity

• Website usage statistics

We use this information to maintain the security, stability, performance, and reliability of our Services.

A device check when you create a website. Your browser computes a code from its graphics, screen, processor and time-zone settings and keeps it in local storage. On the Free Forever plan we store it with the website and use it only to allow one free website per device.

Visitors to websites hosted on Statpio

When someone visits a website hosted on Statpio, we process their data on behalf of the website's owner:

• Visitor statistics, such as pages viewed, referring site and campaign tags, country, region, city and approximate location (about 10 km), network provider, browser, operating system, device type and language. No cookies are used, visitors are counted with a code that changes every day, and IP addresses are never stored. Statistics are kept for 90 days.

• What visitors send: form messages and the files attached to them, waitlist sign-ups and blog comments. They are kept until the website's owner deletes them, and deleting a message deletes its files. Messages a website receives after it reaches its plan's monthly limit are kept locked, and deleted after 90 days if they are never unlocked. The visitor's IP address isn't stored with them; a short-lived code used against spam is erased after 7 days.

The website's owner decides what their website collects, so questions about it are best sent to them.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate, maintain, improve, and secure Statpio. Specifically, we may use your information to:

• Create and manage your account.

• Authenticate users using email/password or Google Sign-In.

• Deploy and host your websites.

• Access authorized GitHub repositories to perform deployments.

• Process subscription payments.

• Send the emails your account needs, such as account verification, password resets, billing confirmations, plan and usage notices, invitations, change-request updates and the analytics reports you set up, and the browser notifications you turn on.

• Respond to customer support requests.

• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.

• Improve the functionality, reliability, security, and performance of our Services.

• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations.

Contact Forms & User Communications

If you contact us through our contact forms or by email, we use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry, provide customer support, improve our Services, or communicate with you regarding your account when necessary.

We do not sell your contact information or use support communications for third-party advertising.

Payments

Statpio offers paid subscription plans for certain features and services. Payment processing is securely handled by our third-party payment provider, Dodo Payments. We do not collect or store your complete payment card information on our servers.

Depending on your payment method, Dodo Payments may collect information such as:

• Name

• Billing email address

• Billing country

• Payment method details

• Transaction information

Your payment information is processed in accordance with Dodo Payments' own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Email Communications

Statpio uses Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service (AWS SES) to send essential transactional emails required to operate your account.

These communications may include:

• Welcome and account verification emails

• Password reset emails

• Billing emails: payment confirmations, cancellations and failed payments

• Notices about your plan, usage limits, websites and domains

• Collaborator invitations and change-request updates, in your agency's branding on Agency Pro

• Analytics email reports and traffic alerts, to the recipients you choose (Agency Pro)

• Important service announcements

We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. If we introduce marketing communications in the future, you will be provided with appropriate choices and unsubscribe options where required by applicable law.

Browser notifications

If you turn on notifications on a device, Statpio stores that browser's push address and a short description of the browser, and sends your alerts (new messages, waitlist sign-ups, change requests, GitHub deploys) through your browser maker's push service, such as Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft. Alerts are encrypted, so the push service can't read them. Turn them off any time under Profile & Security, in Notifications; signing out stops them on that device.

Data Storage & Infrastructure

Statpio is built on Cloudflare's global infrastructure to provide fast, secure, and reliable website hosting.

Depending on the features you use, your information may be stored using:

• Cloudflare D1 for application and account data.

• Cloudflare R2 for uploaded files, deployment artifacts, and other stored assets.

• Cloudflare Workers to securely process requests and operate the Statpio platform.

• Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine for visitor statistics, kept for 90 days.

• Cloudflare Workers AI to check published websites and blog posts for abuse.

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the operation of our platform and cannot be disabled.

• Authenticate users.

Preferences

Your light or dark theme and a few dashboard choices are kept in your browser's local storage, not in cookies.

Analytics

Statpio measures visits to statpio.com with its own cookieless analytics, the same script the websites we host get: it sets no cookies, keeps a visit ID in your browser's session storage, and never stores your IP address. We don't use Google Analytics or advertising trackers. If we ever add an optional analytics tool that sets cookies, it will only run after you accept it.

Third-Party Services

To operate Statpio, we rely on trusted third-party providers that process information on our behalf.

Each provider processes information according to its own privacy policies and applicable legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• With trusted service providers necessary to operate Statpio.

• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or lawful governmental requests.

• To investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

• With your consent or at your direction.

We do not rent, trade, or sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

If you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period unless we are legally required or permitted to retain certain information.

These measures include secure authentication, encrypted HTTPS communications, access controls, infrastructure security, and continuous improvements to our security practices.

Statpio is not intended for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, technologies, legal requirements, or business practices.
